Greetings and a very warm welcome to our somewhat brief April edition of Hamptons Happenings…

During this time away from the normal hustle and bustle of our busy lives, you will no doubt have time to reflect on many aspects of both your business and life.
For us here at Hamptons, the first thing that we’ve reflected on is how incredibly grateful we are to have our customers, suppliers and also our incredible team… Together we have already faced many challenges – so the first thing we want to say is “thank you”. Even though we can’t see each other and none of us know when we will see each other next… we hope that when you read this you will know that you’re in our thoughts…
In terms of being grateful, we’re also very thankful that we live in New Zealand and that our very precious country is being led through this crisis by such capable, caring and genuine people.
One of the other things we’ve started to reflect on is what the world will be like when the clouds clear and we’re able to leave our homes… We know that it will be up to us to all do our bit to get the wheels turning and generally get our economy humming again…
With the above in mind, we sincerely want to know how we can help you to make that happen?
What can we do to help you hit the ground running? Can we work with you to suss out and schedule exactly what it is that you need to finish what you were working on? Please keep in mind that our team get to see first-hand how differently everyone works and that means we get a fair idea of what works well and equally what doesn’t work so well.
Instead of just helping you finish what you were doing on the 24th of March… What was going to be coming up after that?
So, let’s imagine that you and your team finish off what you were doing in record time… what’s next? Is there something that our estimating and quoting team can assist you with? Once again, how else can we help you to get things organised to get this work done well and in record time…
As you reflect on things, it may also be an opportunity to think about your work over the last few months… what could you have done more, better, less or different? Was everything you did worthwhile? Did you price things well enough? Did you charge enough? Would it have made a difference if you had another tool or another pair of hands?
We don’t pretend to have all the answers… but we’d certainly love to get the conversation going, let’s use this time wisely and hopefully in the process we might learn something about you or your business and discover how else we might be able to ‘see you right’.
