Looking for a silver lining as we head into the gloomiest month of winter?
Here it is: ITM has another LBP training day scheduled for Wednesday, June 28th (just 6 days after the shortest day on the 22nd).
Brighten up your winter at Addington race course with on-site learning, spot prizes, a major prize, goodie bags, and of course, six LBP points.

Thanks to all our customers for your patience over the previous month as we have been operating with reduced staff numbers. We have had quite a few staff off with illness, and those that worked through did so under great stress and pressure.
Our staff handled the shortages commendably, with many staff covering two or three roles outside their normal fields. We are proud of our staff and the way they stepped up and would like to thank them for their efforts. We are back to normal now, and running at full capacity – all ready to see you right.
We currently have the Ox Pro Tuff rule in stock. You may have seen these on the trade counter in-store. These were designed by a builder for builders. Rather than a metre rule, these are 600mm – the standard stud wall spacing + floor joist spacing. With a range of other features, these stand out in the market, and those that have one are passionate about its advantages. You can come in-store and try them out, but for a taster here is a video of what the Ox Pro Tuff rule can do for you.
A sparkie, a brickie, and a welder are sitting on a high-rise scaffolding on their lunch break. They all open their lunches to find ham sangas.
The sparkie sighs and says, “I hate ham, my wife knows I hate ham, yet every day I end up with this ham sanga. If I get one more of these, I’m jumping off this building.”
The brickie agrees with him, saying “ You know what, I feel the same way. I’m tired of this bland lunch every day. One more of these and I’m jumping off after you.” The welder chimes in as well, saying “I hate this sanga too. I’m with you, boys.”
Well, the next day comes and they find themselves in the same spot for lunch. The sparkie pulls out a ham sandwich and true to his word, jumps off and goes splat. The brickie opens up his lunch, discovers the same and jumps as well. So does the welder.
At the funeral, the sparkies widow found out what happened and was talking to the other widows, saying “If only I had known how much he hated that lunch, I would have packed him something else.”
The brickie’s widow says “For sure! I didn’t know he wanted something else.”
The welder’s widow pauses and then says “Don’t look at me, my husband packed his own lunch.”
